Default ::EBS Racing:: Now Offering A Full Suite Of Machining Services

It might come as a surprise to you, but did you know that EBS Racing offers a full line of custom machining services for your Porsche drivetrain? Whether you're in the middle of a complete rebuild and you need fresh clean surfaces, or you're creating a wild big-power monster of an engine for your Porsche race car, we can help your engine live up to its full potential. If your high mileage engine needs a valve job or your big-displacement turbocharged beast needs a set of twin-plug heads, you can trust Engine Builders Supply to get the job done right.

While we have historically been known for aircooled service work, we are more than capable of handling machining work your watercooled 911 or transaxle model may need. From cylinder head work and balancing rotating assemblies to resurfacing cylinder heads and line boring cases, we have the expertise and proper machining equipment to complete the task in a quick and efficient manner. We even have the capability to test your engine's metal surfaces, usually cylinder heads, for Rockwell hardness.

No matter what engine you're working on, we can get your cylinder heads in tip top again. We offer valve machining in various competition and street forms, full port & polish jobs, head resurfacing, cylinder top resurfacing, cylinder base resurfacing, exhaust stud repairs, and the aforementioned twin-plug modifications. We'll even custom machine a location in your cylinder head for a temperature sending unit.

You can trust your piston connecting rod needs to EBS Racing. We can completely rebuild your connecting rods with new bushings and a new set of ARP hardware. ARP High Performance series connecting rod bolts are made from heat-treated, seamless, and defect-free 8740 chromoly steel. The bolts we use are nearly five times stronger than OEM Porsche bolts. We offer some of the more common connecting rod sets on an exchange basis for an even faster turnaround (call for more information).

While we're talking rotating assemblies, EBS can also get the components inside your engine properly balanced. At higher speeds even a minor imbalance can cause horsepower-robbing vibrations, internal stresses, and potential failure points. A balanced engine will generally be a more efficient engine, and will tolerate higher engine speeds. We can begin by balancing individual components, like your crankshaft, or even your piston set, for example. The best idea, however, is to match the entire rotating assembly to balance all at once. Send us your piston set, rods, crankshaft, flywheel, and clutch assembly, and we'll get the weights of each piece perfectly balanced for a smoother operating engine.

Finally, we are proud to bring you a series of high-efficiency ported and polished oil pumps for aircooled and watercooled 911 models (including 959 and 965/962). These pumps are proven to increase flow efficiency as much as 20% with a resultant increase in oil pressure. These are perfect for your motorsport-oriented engine build, but would not be out of place in a street-only engine as well. The safety and wellbeing of your Porsche's engine is worth the minimal expense. Call it an insurance policy against oil-pressure related engine failure. These pumps are sold on an exchange basis, and we do keep a few pumps pre-machined on the shelf for quick shipping (call for more information).

All of our machine work is fully satisfaction guaranteed. For more information on benefits, availability, time frames, fitment, or to place an order, call one of our EBS Racing Porsche specialists at 1-800-462-3774.

Can you make a 3.33 ratio final drive pinion for the front z96 differential so C4, c4s and turbos could use modern tire sizes?
