Yeah that would really kill the day...I have no clue what it could be; it sort of does look like it could be from the link...? I saved it, it was had to take pics of.

If it is in fact from the chain; there goes my early analysis.

No, it does not stick to a magnet. It is very thin, see measurement if that's any help to ID.
