Gas additives?

Gas additives?
So I'm finally ready to get driving my car again after the winter layoff...after the AOS layoff, and after the tire layoff.
The other day I realized that my last fill up was last October!....so I have a 1/4 tank of 6 month old gas in the car. Should/can I add anything to it to deal with its age and water potential, or just fill it up and burn through it? The car seems to run well, so I'm guessing the gas is probably not too bad. But it would be good to know if one should put an additive in for long term storage.
thanks!

NJS: I agree with "ex" above, but on winter storage I've always read "put in fuel storage additive with full tank of gas, drive around to circulate then put it to sleep." That is the advice I follow for winter and it's been working.

If the engine starts and runs ok and the CEL remains off my advice would be to get the car to a gasoline station and fill up the tank with some fresh premium gasoline.
My experience with a family member's Infiniti SUV that sat 6 months is the engine fired right up and ran ok but the engine felt quite flat. Being unfamiliar with the vehicle I thought the vehicle was just kind of a dog. But I drove the vehicle enough to run the gas level down to where I needed to add gasoline so I filled it up with Shell V-Power (the engine required premium fuel). The transformation was quite remarkable. The engine was not a dog.

I used super tech gas additive on my BMW after sitting for a few months and idle was smoother. Can't hurt - and yes - as soon as tank is half full - fill up with new premium asap

Drain all gas , top off with fresh would be my recommend fix. But , that just what I would do. Gas can become very bad after a several months, there so much alcohol in the fuel these days, how much moisture was the car soaking up? Next winter get some non ethanol or Marine grade gas with stabil treatment run the car so that the treatment fuel will mix well threw your complete fuel system , Before storage. Then store the car with a full tank , after storage drain all fuel add fresh, change oil and filter, then your off.

Fill it up and drive. Top up every 1/4 tank for the next month to keep diluting out the old gas. 400 miles before your next oil change add the Techron Fuel System Cleaner. Drive that tank way way down. Fill up. Change oil.
