It looks like he had a good line. Not sure why that other guy was driving the wrong way on a race track?!

I wouldnt be be surprised if that car was being driven by an employee of the dealership. Hopefully it wasn't a customer car in for an oil change.

People like this help cars like ours become less common. Which is nice.

Looks like it was a Cayman (err, 718 or whatever the hell they call them now).
At least it wasn't a GT3 RS in the shop for an exhaust mod.

+1 Seems a weird thing to be innocuously filming a quiet street with your cell phone and BAM! Me thinks it went more like this... "Hey man, go upstairs and film me doing the curves out front in the new Porsche Cayman we just got in. I am gonna fly through there this time, even faster than I did with the GTS last month."

I'm not sure it was shot on a cell phone. Looks like it could be cell phone video of a TV playing video from a fixed security camera.

Looks more like a 911 Turbo to me, but it's pretty hard to see from that video quality.

Turbo would help explain the rear end trying to execute a pass against the front end using an outside line...

Scary as it was, the other car kept the Porsche from coming all the way around and winding up in the trees (or mowing down the white flag poles, or...).

Some folks here could catch that car if the rear end popped out (you know, if it hadn't been for that pesky oncoming traffic) - but a lot more would lose it. I'm probably in the latter group.

To me it looked like a turbo too. The side scoops were up high (turbo), whereas they are low on the 718

I'm thinking NOT a security camera as it jiggles around and follows the would be Mario Andretti after he trashes the car. From watching it again looks like he got it loose by trying to jerk it inside of the unexpected on-coming car. To correct that slide he probably would have hit the offending other car with his left front. Either way he had just screwed himself! In a demented way it makes me smile that he didn't kill himself or anybody else. Maybe he has learned something...maybe...just maybe...probably not...

Ouch!

The OPC loan car I get when I service my car is a Cayman but the excess is $5k which I think deters most from rallying it around but then again maybe not!

I'm pretty confident its a turbo. Has the big inlets behind the doors + when it comes to a stop the rear side windows look unmistakably 911. I also think this is filmed on a phone from a security camera playback - hence the shaky camerawork.

I thought it was a turbo as well but at one point the side profile looks very cayman like...
