Aren't those the ones that you can heat with a lighter to increase their lift capacity?

And the JD + ratchet straps sound like the winner since I already have both.

an engine hoist [overhead] and basic knowledge of where to bolt the chains/cables/straps OR 4 healthy buddies can lift it on to a wheeled dolly or whatever you need to put it on

4? What kind of nancies do you hang out with? A 3.6 only weights 450 pounds. Stephen Hawking and 4 buddies could manage it.

For the newer folk, that's Kalash carting a tip tranny that would eventually end up in the other KK's 996, and then sadly fail.
