I was thinking about doing the console delete, so I pulled mine out yesterday, and I love it. Reading old threads, it sounded like Suncoast sold the parts for around $120, which is expensive but I could handle it. Well, it looks like it's now $220 on their site which is totally insane.

Anyone know of a place that sells this for a reasonable price, or better yet, anyone have a kit they would like to sell?

Side note - when I had everything out, I found a wire harness not connected to anything, almost looked like a trailer hookup style connector. Anyone know what that is?

The console delete is really a modern marvel. The fact so many people that report the substantial increase in leg room is amazing considering it defies the laws of physics

ECS has one as well - for a LITTLE less - but yes... insane. I'd bet a local upholstery shop could do something for a ton less.

Are you talking about the GT3 console delete or blank plate to delete the upper console?

The plug you found is for the phone kit. Good place to pickup ignition on positive.

I received the console delete as a birthday present. I love it. It changes the look of the dash board and saves considerable weight. I would not worry about the cost if it is what you want.

You can use a turkey baster to make a new one for about half the cost.

That looks like the deal on Pelican, but it does not look like it has the little square panel filler piece above the shifter, which is included in ECS's kit at $215:

Thanks for the photo, I really like the result. Think I'll look into trying to get the console delete parts, problem is my interior is Savanah Beige and may have to got the Dealer for the right color match.
