1999 996 Carrera front bumper /light ?

I have a front b7mper from a turbo and am wondering if I can exchange the "fried egg " Front headlights without changing the fenders. Any help is appreciated.

I believe the oem turbo bumper is for the mkII headlights

The wings (or fenders) appear to be the same part number from 1999-2005 according to Pelican so they should not require changing.

It can be done, but you'll need to get Mk2 light enclosures. Side skirts also have complete the look.

Here's mine:

Just to make it clear to me- The MKII lights are plug n' play into a MKI vehicle? So with a set of MKII lights and updated front bumper, a '98-'99 can use a MKII/turbo type bumper cover? With no other parts/cutting/splicing/molding?

From what I've read you'd need to change the fenders to MK2 ones. The headlight shape is different. Not sure about the wiring though.
