I had a Mod 07 for a short while in my 996. Didn’t like it. The yellow stripe was slightly off center and it didn’t feel as robust as I was expecting for a Momo wheel. Could just be me, though.

Off center from the wheel itself or not straight when driving straight?

It's definitely worthwhile establishing whether you have/had a genuine Momo wheel. A recent conversation with a Momo dealer proved rather illuminating, there are a lot of Momo knockoffs being made in you know where.
Apparently they're an excellent replica, but .... one way you can tell they're not the genuine article, is the spokes are flimsy and will flex. I have genuine Cup wheel in front of me, its spokes have zero flex.

I thought I wanted to add a Momo wheel to my 996, but when I looked at it in person at Wine Country's store in WPB, I opted against it simply as a matter of personal preference.

Just in case you didn't know.

Porsche now sell the Porsche branded one in leather.

In the UK it is £270 plus tax.
