Replace spark plug on a bad ignition coil?
Not for the 996, but I can't find a clear answer elsewhere and you guys are really knowledgeable. Sorry if it's a dumb question. Can I reuse the spark plug off a bad ignition coil?
Bike was running rough when warm and was overdue for a tune-up. Still running rough after the maintenance and I suspect a bad ignition coil. Smells really rich and there's some misfiring. There's ~50 miles on the new plugs with the bad coil (if I'm right).

hahaha, I'll take that as a no.
Do all the ignition coils and plugs? My understanding is that these rarely fail and I should just replace as necessary. At the very least, I shouldn't need to replace the plugs on the good coils even if I replace the coils.

I'm gonna change it. I'd rather pay the few bucks then have change the plug later.
On the bike, I have to remove a steering damper, seat, fuel tank, air intake tubes, and air box before I can get to the coils and plugs. And I strained my neck yanking out the coils last time. I was only going to keep the plug if the unequivocal response is don't worry about it.
Thanks everyone.

Dang it. Resistance readings seem within spec, but my bike runs fine at cold temps. It's only stalling at normal temps. I see some people baking the coils prior to testing resistance. Nonsense?
