Is this the correct part number for the oil filler tube Part #: 997-107-131-00-M100 ('99 996)?

Thanks,

Mike
Don't forget the O-ring shown as #16 in the link. I cannot remember if my new oil filler tube came with the O-ring or not - http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...section=104-05
But you sure would not want to be all the way in there and either have to use the old O-ring or wait until a new one arrives. Also, I used clean new engine oil to lube the O-ring, not grease like it says. Worked great.

Thanks! I did order a new o-ring and both upper and lower idler pulleys.

Sorry to bump such an old thread, but what motor mounts were installed that resulted in the engine being too high? I just installed Torque Solution mounts in my '02 and I appear to have the same clearance issue you did with the oil filler tube.

I bought these. REINAVE0382P{#99337504906, 99337504908}

However, once I replaced the oil filler tube, I didn't do anything special and I had 1.5 inches of clearance over that idler pulley. So i am not sure what happened. Maybe my worn mounts were slowly lowering my engine and pully that original tube onto the pulley
. Of course that doesn't make any sense. The pulley and oil filler tube are part of the same thing. What is different is the air box.
