Would you watch 996 Videos?
Throughout last track season I got a lot of thumbs up and questions about my track videos and it got me thinking.
Why not put together some film detailing the car, its components, repairs, maintenance, race tracks, DE events, etc.?
Sooooo, I figured I'd gauge the level of interest.
What do ya'll think?
Is that something you guys would want to see and what would you want me to cover?
As a small example:
996 Milltek Mufflers
Track Video:
PCA Track Days
360 VR Track Video:
Chasing a 930 Turbo
Chasing a 991 GT3
Chasing a 991 GT3RS
Wide Angle:
Chasing a 997 GT3RS in the rain
Lapping the Ridge with my Dad

I watch 996 videos.
and 997. and ferrari. and BMW. and whatever else happens to come up.
IMHO one more guy talking about his car on youtube isn't going to stand out, unless it's great track video or you're solving a problem that is of interest to a lot of people.
but that's just me. I'm sure others would be interested.

Definitely YES, I will watch your videos especially any DIY work you do on the 996. Even now, I always search for "996" DIY videos on YouTube and keep watching them, it's fun. Thanks for putting those video links together because I am sure they are very useful as a reference point. Cheers,

I didn't mean to be a "Debbie Downer".....
let me qualify by saying I like watching track video, especially the Cup cars.
But the other day I saw a video of a track newbie describing mundane details about his car to the camera.
so if you post videos, make it informative (like your exhaust video)

Go for it! I'd definitely watch anything DIY, product reviews, tips, track prep. After enough laps, you might want to put a video of hot laps of specific tracks pointing our visual markers, braking points and inputs, shift points, throttle inputs, apex suggestions, etc.
If you're looking to polish it up... I think editing to get to the highlights and maybe putting background music is nice. Capturing engine sound is important, I can watch almost anything if it has good engine sound. If you want to get fancy, you can experiment with different camera mount points, using chase cars, or even drone footage.
This guy did a nice simple vid where he captured the highlights, used a catchy tune...could have used more engine noise.
