Been busy enjoying driving the car over the last few days... everything feels tighter and more responsive to inputs. The GT3 suspension is firm without being harsh. Loving it so far!

Also, I'm not sure if it was the transmission fluid or motor mounts, but much of the slop in the shifter has been eliminated.

To recap, here's where I ended up for Stage 1 of the maintenance and upgrades (much more than I originally planned for the first stage! ):

Maintenance
Clean out front radiators (done)
Unclog drain holes (done)
Coolant/Oil/brake fluids (done)
Blackstone oil analysis (done - clean report)
Current IMSB pulled and inspected (done - OEM dual row in good condition)
Transmission fluid (done)
Alignment (done - GT3 spec)

Parts Installed
Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires
NGK Spark Plugs & new coils
New Serpentine Belt
FVD Motorsport Oil Pan with upgraded baffle
Magnetic oil drain plug
New Air filter
New Pollen Filter
New Water Pump
New Dual-Mass Flywheel
EPS Clutch
Wevo semi solid engine mounts
LN Low temp thermostat
GT3 coilovers
Tarett Monoball Camber Plates - Front
Tarett sway bar mounts
IMSB - dual row LN retrofit
OEM Fuel tank valve
New AOS
New RMS
New chain tensioners
Tarett Adjustable Endlinks - Rear
GT3 Console Delete + AC/HVAC control trim to relocate climate unit to dash

And the "Stage 2" List is already growing:

Clear side markers (already on order )
GT3 sway bars (looking to source a set - please PM me if you have a lead)
Shifter upgrade (Ben’s/997/GT3/other?)
Upgraded Brakes
Suspension bushing refresh (Powerflex?)
Fister (or equivalent) exhaust mod

We manufacture our own version of the GT3 bars.

Same fit and function, but at a reasonable price. The kit includes the OEM GT3 swaybar bushings.

Bah, stop tempting me... or my car will end up a rolling advertisement for Tarett.

That's a good thing. Nobody stands behind their products like Tarret. Just last week, I boogered up a brand new top mount, 100% my fault, and Ira came up with a solution to fix it for me at no cost.

Slightly OT, the wife got me one of these as a belated b'day present:

It's going to make for some interesting shots once I get the hang of it.

Sweet! I was at an event last week where there was a drone flying around recording footage. I was really surprised at how loud it was. I guess the big ones are pushing a lot of air with all those blades.

Indeed, though the good thing about the Mavic is that it's pretty tiny.

Snapped on the clear corners... they look so much better then the orange on a seal grey car.

Clearly I need wheels with a slightly more aggressive offset.

Not much in terms of updates, as I've been focusing on driving the car.

I did however take care of a few maintenance items:

1. Replaced the fuel purge valve after running into an issue starting the car after re-fueling (required multiple cranks to start). Installing the new purge valve cleared it right up.

2. I replaced the low pressure piston and spring as it's inexpensive and a known failure point (though it turns out that my spring was fine).

Starting to think about ways of keeping the engine cooler when the car is in stop and go traffic. While moving on the highway, I'm now consistently 5-10 deg. cooler with all the mods and maintenance I've done so far (hovering around 79 deg. C as read on the climate control unit).

While in stop and go traffic, however, I haven't seen significant change. The 3rd radiator mod is an obvious option. I'm also curious if folks have looked into getting the radiator fans to kick in at a lower temp. Once I hear them start blowing at full speed, the coolant temp stabilizes.

Just on number 1, was this the purge valve on the fuel filler neck?

Hard starting/multiple cranks after a re-fuel happens occasionally to me however it could also be the regeneration valve in the engine bay so i'm planning to replace either of those.

No, I'm referring to the vent valve located on top of the engine:

Thanks for confirming! Thats the other valve I thought it might have been.

Its easier to replace than the one on the filler neck anyway!
