WTB: 996 targa
Everyone, looking for a 2002 to 2004 targa as a daily driver. Doesn't need to be pristine (I'm OK with normal wear and tear but don't want major work). If anyone knows of a decent well cared for 996 targa, send them my way. I'm in Boston but will consider nationally for the right model.
If it matters, I have the all important wife seal of approval 😎
Thanks,
Matt

Targa for sale
I have a black/black '02 targa I was going to sell this spring to upgrade to newer Porsche. Caiifornia car - garaged, never driven in the rain ! I did LN ims about 15k miles ago - at 76k or so now. Pioneer double DIN , ( have cdr220 not working if you want original radio), recent coolant tank. I've had it about 5 years - did water pump, rebuilt alternator, rms, aos , changed oil every 5k. Brakes good, recent fluid - tires still ok. Paint good for age - a couple of minor dings and scratches but still looks close to new after a polish ! Interior very good - new mats. Happy to take it to local p-car shop for ppi. Pm me if you want pictures and have more questions ....

You may have better luck in the marketplace section of the site. But I think you'll need to get proactive and search on eBay / craigslist / Autotrader - especially for something that specific. I've yet to see anyone come on here desperate enough to sell to seek out wanted threads.
Good luck with the hunt!
