"19% of truck drivers admit that they’ve fallen asleep at the wheel in the previous month"
Automation will be welcome in my book, out here truckers slow 75mph zones to 50 or less on steep grades while passing. Pretty annoying and dangerous to intorduce their soeed differential to the fast lane(s).

I've been running the Escort 360 Max for around a year now. I'm using Escort Live with it and have been really happy with it. I has without a doubt paid for itself. It does a much better job than my last one at filtering out the radar assisted driving aids on many cars.
I had a 9500ix that I was happy with, but it developed the "reset power" error. When you reset power, all seems good, it simply no longer detected radar!! It also was pretty noisy about cars with radar driving aids such as lane assist and automatic braking.

V1 upgraded three times, works well in my cars and motorcycles. However if your doing over 100MPH "Foget baght it" get a good attorney or make sure officer friendly sees your retired military ID card.Works every time.

One of the nice things about the Esort/Passport products is that they have a program very similar to Waze as part of the package. It relies on data from other users to update an active network of threats, much like Waze does. If your detector picks up a threat, it automatically marks it on the map for other users. I think Cobra may have something similar now.

All of these devices are just tools. You can layer them up. But the best defense is to keep your head on a swivel and constantly be looking down stream. Your eyes are really your best defense along with the electronic gadgets as support.
