Apologize if this is a stupid question. My CEL lit up 250 miles ago - was waiting to take it in... and automagically, the light came off. Is this possible? The issue in the past has been O2 sensors - not sure about this recent incident.

Is this possible? Or has my CEL light burnt out?

Yes, it's possible. To check the bulb, you just put the key to the last position before crank, the CEL should turn on.

No worries for now but don't be too surprised if the CEL pops back on. This could mean something is operating marginally so sometimes it fails the tests but it passes the tests afterwards multiple times, enough to reset the CEL.
