Is there a separate manual seat height adjustment, or were power seats not standard on the 996? (Mine just has the buttons to adjust it electrically).

Glad the lever was just stuck from disuse, not broken. The one essential option that was a dealbreaker for me when I went looking for my Porsche was full power seats with driver's side memory. Before cars had memory seats I used to unplug the harness so nobody would mess with my settings.
