Top Speed are generally low end players on the game that started catering towards the Honda crowd originally with cheap air filters and such. Since then, they've expanded to other car Marques realizing there are even greater suckers that own other types of cars.
"Some" of their products are ok on certain cars to be fair but in this case, you will most likely have shiny presents for your car and that's about it. Fitment and internal welds will be poor. If you manage to jimmy them on, you will get zero engineering behind it in terms of performance. Thinner metal, thinner flanges, misaligned bolt holes, possibly smaller diameter tubing.
I find it interesting to see a lot of low end players trying to enter the high end car market these days. I'm fine with it if any of them could prove a certain level of engineering went into it, however I have yet to see this.
I know your sons mean well but when it comes to the m96 platform, there are only incremental power increases with a large cash outlay. Very little ROI with these motors.

CAD can make a good engineer great, and a bad engineer dangerous...

I've concluded that a good portion of the generic products out there are b-stock items at best that have been originally rejected by the top companies that contracted them out to make a product for one reason or another(not meeting their standards). These eventually find it's way to 2nd hand resellers that buy these for pennies on the dollar and hope to make a small profit off them to the uninformed. I see this with not just car parts but all types of items, gardening , home, faucets, tools, etc.

Drifting
Im sure i will get flamed for this but, as was alluded to earlier, these motors take ALOT of money to extract any sufficient gain. Also, dont fall for manufactuers dyno claims. The only way to verify anything power related is to go get a base dyno run done and then go back to the dyno afterwards and see what if any results were gained.

Interesting that the site says the mufflers will not pass CA smog. Mufflers are not evaluated and won't affect emissions as long as they don't leak. That should have been on the header page.
Not sure why they spent so much space describing the properties of schedule 40 steel instead of...you know...describing what the products do.
To their credit (I guess?), neither of the pages linked to above make ANY performance claims. Or provide any noise level info. Or really do anything except explain the merits of schedule 40 galvanized steel.

With our cars, weight reduction is the best performance mod. You could throw $5-6k at our motors and barely see an increase.
I've heard a great mod is the GT3 throttle body and intake. It will also make your car sound louder

To expand on that, IMO unsprung weight in the form of lightweight wheels along with good set of tires can do more wonders than many of the mods out there in terms of actual car performance. Factory wheel weight is ~25f/29r and you can get good aftermarket wheels in the low 20# range which would defintitely be noticeable.
If all you're looking for is "sound" performance, then just drill a hole in your muffler. lol.

check maxspeed or agency power, they have about the same price and quality exhaust parts. A exhaust system can make a few HP and a better intake like K&N will go along with that but you wont get much results with any hard parts untill you get a better ECU software program. Try REVO, EVOMsit, etc

I like to throw Speedtech into the mix. They are not only Porsche owner's, they develop their OWN products and make most things in house. This can't be said of a lot of other companies that outsource their products to be made. PCA discounts are also given. Lifetime warranty and you know it will be "lifetime" as these guys have been in the biz for awhile and can't see them skipping town like some other companies. This is a no-nonsense company that often does without the glitzy advertising that some do.
They also have been making the same proven products for years. Some companies change their product line a bit since they outsource their products to be made and buy whatever is currently being made. Take their headers for example, there's been quite a few popular companies that used to carry this design before. They no longer carry it because their supplier's don't make this design any longer.
I have absolutely no affiliation with this company. I've ran one of their products before and thought the quality was excellent and John offered great service.
