SOLD *** Set of 996 Factory Hollow Spoke Turbos with Proxes
SOLD
I didn't have much response over on the parts marketplace forum (I'm surprised), so I'm posting here:
These are 18" factory hollow spokes with Toyo Proxes R888 w/3 heat cycles on them.
Excellent condition - for street or track/DE. The Proxes are DOT certified, so they are street legal - dry conditions only.
Fronts:
Porsche p/n 996.362.136.04
8” 50 ET (offset)
with Toyo Proxes R888
235/14 ZR18 91Y
Rears:
Porsche p/n 996.363.142.03
11” 45 ET (offset)
with Toyo Proxes R888
315/30 ZR18 98Y
Centercaps in the pictures aren't included
I have more detailed pics.
$1,300 for the set.
Pickup local to 20854 preferred, and I'm amenable to meeting within a 25 mile radius.
I'm also willing to ship - actual shipping cost at the buyer's expense.
PM me with interest.

Man I've been thinking about these for my '99 C2 since you posted it. The rears would be 7mm closer to the inside and stick out an additional 1". Any thoughts from the group if this would work?
The front wheels are fine but the tires are way too small and would have to be replaced.

Plus with the added negative camber you have to do to avoid rubbing under full load, you will get a lot of negative toe which will wear down the tires really fast.
Considering these are R888, the contact patch of the tires will be very aggressive so you might still have rubbing even after doing all these mods.
BTW, I see what you did there for the front tires. LOL.

These would barely stick out and rub unless you plan to roll your fenders and go with an aggressive neg camber at the rear. There are a couple guys running this on their NB cars but IMO, it's less than optimal.

When I am ready for track tires/wheels, any recommendations on a good setup? I'm hoping to be patient and catch a deal on a used set.

For myself I would run this following;::: But that is just me....
18x8 (et. 45) 18-lbs. and 18x10 (et. 50) 19-lbs.
HOWEVER we had a customer of ours just trade-in a very clean low-mile set of OZ Alleggerita 18x8.5 (et. 53) 18-lbs. and 18x10 (et. 65) 19-lbs. The rear tires are pretty much spent while the fronts may have some life.
Includes NEW never used Carbon Fiber OZ caps!
If you are interested in these PM me for a price.

Hmmm. I'm interested. Can you shoot me pick of the wheels? Dirty is fine. Also, do you know the weights? Lastly, how much are the OZ you mentioned as well? Thx!
