Center console delete looks great!
Just had Fischer Motors do an oil service, inspection, and center console delete on my 2001 C2. Since I'm a tall guy, it really helps out and also cleans up the look quite a bit.
Next up is getting a T96 steering wheel some time! However, I highly recommend Fischer Motors as they are great to deal with. Very professional and they know what they are doing.....unlike the shop that forgot to put in a lug nut on my mom's 335

I installed the GT3 Console Delete to my 2001 C4 Cab, along with a T96 wheel, and the two make a huge difference in comfort by giving more leg room. On a long trip it really allows more movement and shifting positions, I love them.

I have my console out at the moment from putting in my 997 shifter. You get so much more let room. So I'm thinking about doing this as well. Where did you source the parts, suncoast?

Thanks for the replies! Yes, I definitely notice a difference in room. I am 6'5'' and size 15 shoes so anything helps!!
I sourced the part from ECS Tuning. Approx $191 plus shipping so not too bad.

Getting rid of the cassette holders is a nice improvement.
What happened to the heated seat switches? Did you relocate them to the ash tray trim behind the shifter? If so, did you need to splice in extra wire?

I did the GT3 console delete at same time put in 997 shifter. Great improvement for leg room. Also replaced comfort seats with GT hard backs, not heated, so no problem losing heated seat switches. Think the car lost some weight with this transformation.
