One thing I can think of is that you will have to cut through the tub for the design you want, sacrificing the structural integrity. I think Porsche knew this and didn't want to go this route possibly.

As for front downforce in conjunction to minimizing lift, do you plan on putting canards on the front bumper? Another thing you can do is also vent the tops of the front fenders like the new 991 gt3's. I know Dodge Viper ACR's are also adopting that technique for a somewhat manufacturer produced street car.

I wish that video showed more analysis of the front bumper vents. The front bumper vents seem like more of way to flow the air through the auxiliary radiator while creating little drag.

I also want to specifiy I do not have any engineering education in aero dynamics, just using what I know as of right now. But I may have to contact an old friend and see if I can get into their wind tunnel after hours for a couple of R&D things.

I think you maybe intermixing drag and lift. You should also look into low and high pressure areas of the car so you're not just adding unnecessary spatula's.

I was thinking a ladle before a spatula. Replace the mirrors with it

I do have an IG. It's JohnLee425.

I wasn't able to get to the bumper today, power went out due to high winds, so the car will sit for another week and wait while I head out of town for work.

Looks like an awesome project.
Man I wish you would find such a project on the 997 forum.

Didn't have time this past weekend to work on the car especially with the power being out.

Did a quick crappy photoshop render using Ace's 996 RSR build. This is the ultimate goal for the body of the car with the flares. Yes I do have a wing but did not render it in. I'm all about the function for this car.

Hood venting has been done by Porsche Motorsport, like in this RSR:

Rendering looks great, these cars pull off the WB so well. Good luck, looking forward for updates.

Yup, that hood exit was a change made for the the 997.2 RSR.

And the new 991 GT3R actually entirely omits the side radiators in favor of a single center radiator that exits out the top of the hood:
