WTF here is selling their used IMS Bearing on ebay?

Ya know -- suppose some enterprising cheap skate wanted to build a DIY squirter bearing lube jobber? This might not be a bad deal for the little flange part. I mean, get a new dual row bearing, pry the seals off, drill yur squirt hole, thread the outside and viola - squirter port by U-Make-It.
I'll give him $25 for it, and toss the bearing.

Not a bad idea!

I was wondering how long it would take for this auction to pop up, LOL. This is a relist as it did not sell the first time... I wonder why? Might as well put a hand grenade bask there.

OK, seller didn't respond to my first offer of $20 for the used bearing with a "Buy It Now" of $299. So, today I submitted a new, higher offer. $21. I can't believe no one else has out-offered me at one penny more.

Looks like a decent deal to me. Maybe I should replace mine with that one since it looks okay! It has more mileage on it than mine, too, which people say is a good thing. If it had 100K miles on it, I'd go for it for sure.

As soon as an IMSB is extracted the ***** and races are microscopically dented. This compromises the integrity of the bearing permanently.
Any bearing thats extracted should be discarded, and never used again. This includes IMS Retrofit components.
The ONLY exception is the IMS Solution, which can have it's bushing removed and replaced countless times with zero adverse effects due to the plain bearing design. I have had the same IMS Solution in 8 different test engines, no worries.

I don't think anyone here is considering using an old original bearing that was pulled from an engine
All the comments are tongue in cheek
You did not need to make a pitch for your product
In any case, keep up the great work, you are appreciated

The tongue in cheek statements prompted a PM to me from someone asking if they could reuse an IMS Bearing, hence resulting in my comments here.
The IMS Solution is my invention, but its not my product.
That said, what I sad was not a sales pitch, even though you people always feel that a post is only made for monetary purposes on this forum.
I was merely stating from a technical perspective that the plain bearing design of the IMS Solution is the only IMS Retrofit product that can be extracted, and reused.
Again, the member who PM'd me this also asked that question. I replied here so others could see my response. That was clearly a mistake. So much for answering someone's question directly. Its all an advertisement, isn't it?? Funny, I don't even sell the product that I supposedly tried to "pitch". Amazing.
