Default Need bolt sizes for engine protection plate.

I removed the engine protection plate from my 2000 C2 but unfortunately I misplaced the bolts(I think there were three of them) that hold the plate in place. These bolts are needed on the engine even when the plate is not attached because the bolts help hold the coolant lines in place.

I purchased 3 M6X12 bolts from Pelican Parts but they do not fit. The M6X12 bolts were too small.

Does anyone know the correct bolt size for these bolts? TIA for any help.

I really don't know but thought I would try and help. The link shows the cooling hoses attached to the engine with a M6x12 bolt. Maybe a better way would be to go to the hardware store and pickup a couple of sizes like M8x12 or M10x12 and see if they fit.
