I also bought one of these a while back, but I decided it was too hideous to mount anywhere in my 996

Works reasonably well. I preferred the yatour unit though (despite folder limitations) as you can change tracks through the headunit).

The little Bluetooth USB dongle looks interesting. I would like to retrofit Bluetooth to my wife's SUV. The vehicle has a USB and aux in jack in the center armrest. Ideally,my he dongle would not only be powered by the USB port but also push audio into it. My guess is that it does not do so and I would need to connect it's audio through the aux in jack. I wonder if the vehicle's USB port has sufficient juice to power the dongle? It charges an iPhone so it may...

(this refers to the diagram on page 1) I thought a Porsche was a Buck Converter.

Cool mod. Gotta see if the Werewife (Miz Fixit) has a soldering gun and some extra patience. Lord knows I won't attempt this for fear I'd set the car on fire.
