A couple of years ago, I believe Perryinva had a thread to replace the O-rings under the oil exchanger where he had to remove the right intake (pass. side) to do this. I searched but so far ... pas de chance!

I know on the left side, you want to lower the engine almost to the crossbar, drain the coolant so you can get the hoses out of the way, remove the intake manifold bolts, and THEN take off the plenums. This is out of order from the DIY but I found it much easier. Not sure how much will apply to the right side though.

Ive put 300km's on the engine now.
A mixture of easy and somewhat hard driving. Car pulls really nice. 2nd gear is just a riot. Speeds get too high in the other gears for the public roads. I need to get over to Calabogie asap.
I havent lost a drop of oil. Which is really nice. I would of had to add a 1/4L in 300km's of driving when I had scored cylinders.
The following issues are no longer present. I suspect because I am using new sensors, and the heads are cleaned up now and not full of oily gunk from the scored cylinders:
-Hard start when engine is warm/hot
-Big hesitation/misfire on take off (cold engine only)
Now to replace the headlight switch so i can have some high beams, and get that window fixed - again.
I added some Porsche tire valve stem caps.
Do you know how long Ive been waiting to do dumb mods like that?
LOL

Excellent work and congrats! Glad to hear it's running strong!
Looks like the DME is happy. Just wondering how the it adapts in terms of fuel trims (RKAT and FRA or STFT/LTFT)? Are those close to 0?

I havent monitored anything yet. If my alcoholic neighbor could put down the beer and drive my car so i can log that and check it out, that would be great. Maybe tonight...lol
