Napa Valley Wine Run
The fall season is here and wine crush is on. Therefore, our presence is summoned for a run to the Napa Valley.
Trefethen Vineyards http://www.trefethen.com is holding their annual Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, October 4th, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This winery is one of my favorites and if you haven't visited before then you are in for a treat.
The cost for a full spread lunch and wine tasting is $40.00 per person. However, if you sign up to be a club member the lunch is complimentary. You can sign up on their web site or call 1-800-556-4847 and speak to Debby.
Similar to our run to Pebble Beach in March a number of Corvette's will be joining us.
More details to follow on the day, departure times and locations. In the meantime, enjoy the rest of September and I will see you all on October 4th.

TitanL9,
We will have a toast of a nice cabernet in your honor.
The last time we went there Trefethen gave us 8 different wines to sample. To say the least the ride back home was a slow one.
Thanks

OK, let me just take this opportunity to point out that I HATE ALL OF YOU!!
Not only does wine cost a fortune in Arizona, we don't have a reciprocal agreement w/ real wine-producing states, meaning we can't even have any shipped here. WAHHHHHH!
Fine then, have fun w/o me.

Dirk Tanner,
You always have an option to move back and pay a little more sunshine tax. We will have a toast in your honor.
TitanL9, This Saturday is the day. I will post some pictures for you as we surround the vineyards.

Torags,
You've got mail.
Later in the day I ran into a guy that with a GT2 followed by a friend in a 996TT. Both cars were black and looked pretty fierce coming down Highway 29.
I saw a new S4 later that evening. The car looks a lot better in person.
