Default Trim removal - another one for Loren

Hi seems like us UK 996 owners are getting a passion for Artic Silver bits as well.

After spending a few hundreds pounds at this weekends annual PCGB event I will soon be the proud owner of a a full Artic silver interior for my 99 MY C2 cab.

I have the instructions from Renntech for the replacement of the centre console and the side air vents but have been recomended to ask for help with the radio/air con surround and air vents.

Loren do you have anything ? I have also been told to go careful with the cigarette lighter removal.

I have also just purchased a Mille Miglia exhaust in stainless stell from ebay. Any tips on fitting this would be good - is it the same as a Fabspeed ?

If anyone is under any illusions about the popularity of the marque in the UK here is a picture of part of the car park on Saturday. This excludes the other half of the car park as well as the hundreds of vehicles on the register & regional stands.

On a MY99 car the upper center console just pops off with a butter knife. The air vent removal is here.

The lighter removal requires that a key (A) be removed.

My PSE/muffler install instructions are here

Default Interior colour

Hi Don,

No the interior is actually Black - for some reason the digital camera was over exposing today and all the shots I took look like this.

Now deciding on the next project - think I need to get rid of the stock four spoke wheel and replace it with a nice black/alu Techart number !

Do you know of an easy way to remove the thin 3 piece horizontal trim . Iwould like to replace mine with carbon fibre but dont like the thought of removing the complete dash.

The interior mod looks great Graham. Can you point me to the directions for removing the center console (where the gearshift, window controls and ashtray reside)? I'd like to replace this piece with new stock color. Mine is more banged up than I would like.
