Default 996's with vinyl decals (old school cool)

Well, after being inspired by Cinellipro's thread here about plast-dipping the rear spoiler black, I have been curious to see if there are any thoughts on 996's with the Carrera sticker along the side. I Can't seem to find any examples of the 996 with this look.

On one hand, I always thought it was akin to having an emblem front license plate even though the hood emblem is 12" above it. Do I really need two emblems on the front of the car? Do I really need "Carrera" plastered on three sides of the car? And on the other hand, here comes Morgan's car and completely blows that thinking out of the water. That looks slick man!

I've really considered the racing flag stripe on my aero car with factory badge delete. It think the black on the guards red would look great, just haven't gotten around to it.

Here is mine. Not quite the same script as the older ones, but the same idea. When I bought the car 4 years ago, it had the script. Thinking of changing it up.

I like it. Plus you can always just peel it off later. My car came with poorly applied GT3 decals as shown in fierofly's pic. His look good but the ones on mine didn't look right biz they were slightly misaligned and the black paint showed thru the tape making the red dull. It took about 5 minutes to pull it all off.

Those decals look great! I may have to do it now. I put decals on my 914s, and I think it totally makes them pop.

Where do you guys get the Carrera decals? There are some on eBay for $79. Any other sources? Have a black 996 so was thinking gold but may be way to pimp.

Try autoatlanta.com, not sure what color options they offer.

The 914 really is a cute classic and the decals really work on it, I like it on some 996's others not as much ,
A sign shop can make this for you and install it
