I love those rotors. I agree that spray paint is probably better for smooth calipers. The brush on paint would probably work on the cast metal calipers that have a rough finish. At the end of the day they look great and you cant tell unless you look closely. I attached a picture of mine after a year and 2k miles.

I just want to do a touch-up and re-stencil my factory red calipers. I don't want to do a full repaint
The lettering on them is wearing(?) away

Any suggestions for paint that will match

Will have to do mine as well because some German ******e has scraped the black factory paint away and painted with something children use in kindergarten. Red of course but the look is hideous. However i probably will go for yellow powder coating. And black logos. And new seals for good measure.

btw maybe someone can give a link to really good quality black decals. And what piston sizes could be on a 1998 C2 so i can surely and correctly preorder them

Here are the parts at Pelican. You should be able to get everything you need. http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/..._pg1.htm#item0 I don't know about the decals, but I think you can find them on Ebay. Good Luck

I brushed on this Rustoleum Hammered finish silver paint years ago.

Could use a freshening up, but looks way better than rusty hats!
