More moderation from Admin PLEASE!!!
Just look at the threads today, and how many are IMS BS.
Is there not an argument that the forum moderators should just move all of these to a singular IMS thread?
Whilst it is there as a sticky, very few seen to use it, and we have to endure never ending IMS based crap all around basically the same question.
I dont think they should be deleted, just move them off the standard forum

In fact, I proposed an IMS subforum before long time ago but that didn't pick up. It can be automated and don't need the MOD's time. Threads with keywords such as IMS, IMSB, etc. are automatically filtered into the subforum.

I made the same suggestion but withdrew it when I was warned off by another member that such suggestions were unwelcome. I still think it's a good idea - 996 forum fields a LOT more traffic than most of the other forums - it would be nice to keep 996-related BS here instead of tossing it into the free-for-all that is RLOT.

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of an off-topic subforum where pretty much everything - including IMS gloop - would get banished to keep the focus on technical discussions.

How about a challenge to all those able to drive their cars (the majority), to share more fun stories, great pics (of their cars), and interesting discussion? If the "IMS" discussion is dominating the board, then that's obviously a reflection of what most people want to talk about.
FWIW, I agree on a lot of the threads. But as a guy having an issue with mine, more accurately a dead engine, I didn't want to post at the end of a sticky thread that everyone ignores. I came to the forum for advice and input on my situation and a lot of very helpful members were willing to chime in and provide both help and encouragement. That's one of the great things about boards like this and it wouldn't happened if we banned any IMS or engine related problems.

but.....but......but......I PREFACED my post by saying "I have already SEARCHED but could not find an answer"......swears every poster who starts an IMS thread
P.S. If only members can muster the self restraint to NOT ANSWER/REPLY/POST to any and all future IMS threads, I am betting this collective SNUB/BOYCOTT will deter/discourage the pesky topic.
But IMHO, AHSAI's idea the best:
