Default I need help

T sure if I am just an idiot or need glasses or something...but is it possible to NOT have an idle control valve connected to the throttle body in an 04?. I do not have one sitting on the side of my TB like in most pics?

I thought the e-gas cars did not have an idle control valve - just the older cable-actuated cars.
