It's a relief to know that these are from his 'personal car' and not from some random car he found parked on the street.

2001 Porsche Carrera 911 C4 - $8500 (Orange County)

I am selling my Porsche after 16 years of ownership. The car is in great condition. Here is a list of items on the car.
Factory Aerokit (5k) by Porsche
Factory PSE Exhaust (Porsche Sport Exhaust)
Black Leather Interior in almost great condition with no tears
Bilstein PSS9 Coilover
Techart Silver 18" wheels
Brand New tires just installed 295/30/18 Rear and 235/40/18 front
Aluminum Shifter and Emergency Brake
Recently added new carmats
Factory Short Shift Kit
Alpine Sound System with Subwoofer and Bluetooth and USB option
Mood Lighting added in the car

Latest Update:
Around Thanksgiving weekend, the car stalled and check engine light started to flash. I had the car towed to a reputable Porsche mechanic. Upon inspection (1 hr labor) they said the spark plug in cylinder one is damaged. They said they won't know any more details until they pull the engine and check further which is not something I am willing to pay at this point due to some financial issues. I am selling the car as is and hopefully someone with knowledge of engines or familiar with the 996 engines can take it further. Please make your best offer.

That's a hell of a deal even if the engine is toast.

My bet is cracked cylinder #1. Definetly not an easy fix. Does have great options though.

yeah, figure you can probably get it for 7ish and have a great core (rebuildable or otherwise).

looks like a good project for someone.

as it sits its a complete, running car in pretty good shape.

^ That could be a fun project for somebody. Hell, I paid 1/3 that for my TechArt Formulas, alone. Wish I were ready to tackle something like this...

But the reality is....this 996 Turbo is $20,000 below market value. Major red flag. Same song and dance about putting down a deposit and then showing up to find no car or seller. I have some proof but we'll wait for the hear from the "seller" to get to the point of ... "We'll ship you the car bit" or "We only handle business through our eBay escrow service" or "wire a $2,000 deposit and pick the car up in Atlanta" yadda yadda yadda

The car images are found on several sites:

Comma problem today where thieves are stealing images off eBay and trying to snag "deposits" on craigslist. On the RL turbo site, one of the guys got burned for more than $2,000.

Here is where the car was sold on eBay for $39,599.00 The true price!!!

Silver is the best / classiest color EVER!!! lol I've loved silver cars before Silver really became so popular back in the late 80's / early 90's. They may be all over the place but I still love it.
