I don't think that will last very long....

Actually, in all honesty, I thought this was a good deal. The "1-owner mostly" comment was just for laughs. Love that lapis blue; gorgeous!

This seems to be an interesting post on Chicago craigslist....

http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/pts/4740933152.html

Former Porsche mechanic and I have a new IMS bearing solution with internal lubricating design eliminating the known failure of Porsche IMS design for 911 996 99-05 and also boxster 986. If you have these kind of car and have not change the bearing, don't take any chance! Please watch the video on youtube and see how's this product the best design available for your 996 3.4 3.6 engine. I have a used instalation kit that is sold separately for $300. This product runs for $580 new. I'm asking $400. This is sought after product, don't be rediculoose on your cash offer.

It looks nice, I emailed him for details on how the original head unit had the Aux input added. R.

You can order a cable from Becker that adds an aux input in place of the CD changer. I might actually have one in my garage, although it's for the old 30-pin iPhone and not the new lightning plug. It's a very easy mod that lets you use your phone for music directly wired to the head unit.

I found a 01 for $16,500 with 100k miles and another with 128k miles for $17k. One red and one black in tx. I have my eye out, I'd like to get into one by end of the year or early next year. Price seems fair?

If you find it, can you post a pic?

The black one with aftermarket & oem wheels looks nice.

Here's a nice low mile example. Really low.
Work the owner down on his price and take care of the IXX and you would have quite a nice Porsche.
OK, maybe also fluids, belt, tires, and a few other things. It depends upon what the owner has had done over the years.
