It's not an aero c4s, different spoiler on those. ad says original is included, which would would look like any other. the oem aero wing looks great imo, i've thought about adding but would want the rest of the kit as well. if the car is up to date, $32k would be a good buy for a rare car. interior w/ the hard backs is fantastic -- i much prefer those seats, not to mention it all being in my fav color (even though i would have ordered it w/ black carpet).

Its an "8" plate, means that it was just recently registered. No mention of maintenance or anything about the car history.

Looks like somebody who thought it was a good idea (on a whim?), figured out they don't understand Porsche ownership, and now wants to dump it.

Remember: when it comes to buying a Porsche, its not just the car, you are also buying the seller.

I notice the left side bolster on the driver's seat is worn down. I wonder if this can be repaired without re-covering the whole leather seat?

some serious red flags with this ad, but no two ways about it, the car in the pics looks like something I'd like to get to know better:

Or that they had a personalized plate and switched back for a sale. And it does mention some maintenance and history... “with new tires, newish brakes, just serviced smogged and registered”

I just ran the VIN through the VIN Wiki app and the car is legit.

Nice car I would crash almost immediately. Probably not a big deal, but I wonder why it needed a new clutch after only 40,000 miles.

So given how much 996 GT2s seem to be fetching without the Ruf treatment, I'm curious why this one is being offered for under $100k? Does Ruf actually hurt the value? I suppose that may be a turnoff to the "speculator" crowd to a point, but this still surprises me. Also, looks like it had PCCBs on it, but they mention replacing the rotors with steels after only 40k miles. If this is legit, this might actually be a hell of a good deal, but this ad raises a lot more questions than answers.
