Saw this cheap 996 if someone is looking for a 100k+ mile manual coupe. Only one pic in the ad and no mention of IMS. Might be worth getting more information on whether IMS was replaced already.

AOS is leaking and needs to be replaced. In practical terms, this means the engine needs to come out. May have intermix in the coolant. My guess is this car will become a roller very soon if not corrected. I’d love to know what carmax offered him for it. Under $10k ??

How many more miles do you think this car and go on without any major break down? It currently has 156k miles.
