Default 2003 Cab with hardtop, 45k miles, asking $19k

https://seattle.craigslist.org/sno/c...511537320.html

No affiliation..

"Selling a great running convertible, for a steal. Price lowered to clear out my driveway.

This 911 only has 45k miles. 3.6 liter 6 speed manual. 320hp. It runs wonderfully and has had lots of care put into insuring it'll last much MUCH longer.

New RND IMS Bearing installed.
New Clutch disk / flywheel pressure plate refinished
New throw out bearing
New Fluids top to bottom
Basically new tires some stubble left
New seals where needed
Valve covers and Oil baffle plate resealed with Porsche correct application
And the best part is the hard-top for these wonderful winter months

Cosmetically this carerra is not perfect - 7/10. Price is reflective of this. A few door dings, rubs in a the clear, and some bumps on the rear bumper. Needs a professional detailer."

Default 2004 C4S, 80k miles, $28,888

http://www.chevroletbuickgmcpuyallup...verview/#close

What are your thoughts on this one for sale? Interested in a C4S, concerned about the IMS install, and while the Carfax is clean it shows 6 owners and limited service by some owners and a lot by others. Has been for sale for quite awhile now, at three months.

https://www.carfax.com/VehicleHistor...AA299X4S622050

IMS AND NEW CLUTCH JUST DONE AT DUNDON MOTORSPORTS! TIRES AND BRAKES ARE OVER 80%, FRESH OIL CHANGE DONE AND DETAILED. THESE ARE SLOWLY GOING UP IN VALUE, ESPECIALLY ONES THAT LOOKS AND DRIVES LIKE THIS ONE. TAKE A LOOK AT THE CLEAN CARFAX AND SERVICE HISTORY. LEATHER FEELS NICE AND SOFT, CLEAR BRA UP FRONT, CAR DRIVES LIKE IT SHOULD, SO NO WORRIES THERE. DON'T LOOK ANY FURTHER.

Best color but I am biased.

Subtract $1500 for horrible glossy black wheels.

Graphite grey is better than drab grey seats.

Hard to find a decent C4S for under that amount without 160K miles on it.

Service history looks good and if the IMS/Clutch is documented in paper, that's $3000+ you won't have to worry about.

I say $27K is a fair offer and at that price I would buy it. Good luck

Thank you for the feedback. It is harder to find C4S for sale. I don't care for the wheels either, but that can be changed. Love the Seal Gray, not the graphite as much. Would prefer black interior.

What about the car being repeatedly sold at auction 4 times since June 2017? That would seem to indicate a problem that the dealer didn't want to deal with and flipped the car at auction.

I didn't notice that. It could be that the clutch was completely shot and the buyers didn't notice till after purchase and didn't want to deal with it. Could be $3-4K, which is all your profit.

If you don't like wheels, colors etc. I would hold out for the car you want, I did and couldn't be happier

Not craigslist, but Porsche Silver Spring MD just posted this 996 w/ 122k. The engine was replaced at 60k miles. They are asking $19.9k. What do you guys think it's worth?

Autocheck shows that it was just purchased at an auction a few days ago.

And, if its not a scam, possibly a good deal:

Not a steal, but I hadn't seen a 2005 996 that wasn't a turbo before. 05 Targa with the IMS bearing done, $26,995
