From what little I can see of the interior, the scratches look on par with comparable 996s.

So assuming that the engine noise is something simple and/or the seller takes care of that prior to sale, it looks like a decent car for a tippy stripper. I still say go for 16 and feel like you did OK between 17 and 18.

This Sunday morning at 10am I listed my wife's 190k mile 2002 Highlander Limited (leather, towing, AWD) for $5500. I had my full asking price in hand by 11:30 am.

Quickest sale EVER!

Couldn't believe it....

Wow, that is fast. I once sold a Classic Mini in 4 days and I thought I did a quick sale.

I seem to sell my cars on craigslist usually within 24 hours. In the past I can remember:

01 Audi S8: Sold in 24 hours on an audi forum
06 ML 350: Sold is 72 hours via an ebay listing
02 Audi A4: Sold in 24 hours via craigslist
95 VW Jetta: Sold in 18 hours via craigslist
00 Forester: Sold in 12 hours via craiglist
93 968: Sold in 48 hours via reenlist posting to a local guy

I price my stuff to sell. And sell it does. Easier that way IMO.

Someone just posted a nice 2002 Lapis C2 in Illinios on planet 9. This one has some perforated seats. Did these come with seat coolers?

No they did not. That is what the non-relaxed/natural/loose/whatever-other-names-they-used leather option looked like. The faux-leather also looks like that, but I *think* that was no longer the standard seating surface for the MkIIs.

2002 C4S Seal Gray on black with 33k miles for $27k asking, unmolested, seems like a steal to me:

2003 C4S guards red on tan 68k miles asking $26k, sweet deal for a red car if you can handle the interior:

2004 Lapis on Gray C4S:

AUTOMATIC white on natural brown WOW these look great in white!

God I wish my car didn't have the "natural" leather in it, it looks so bad compared to the rest of the car, and the color is a lot more faded. WOuld love to trader for the tight real perforated leather ones

I had an '03 Boxster S with the same color scheme. The blue was amazing. And my seats looked the same.

What color do you have? Our 01 has a black interior, has spent it's life outside with no shade or protection and other than a spot where a wet dive regulator 1st stage left an imprint after I left it in the car on a 100+ day, it looks great. We've barely done anything to take care of it too.

Conversely my experience is that the standard leather doesn't wear as well. It seems to dry out and crack more if not taken care of.

I missed checking that box on my Cayenne until after the order locked and I'm still irritated about it. The crap that gets stuck in those holes drives me nuts, especially since it is the dog/kid hauler... If we could figure out how to make Cayenne seats fit in a 996 and 996 seats work in a 958, I'd happily trade you

My interior is black. I don't have a picture of it right now. I absolutely hate the way the leather looks saggy and unkempt, but yes, I have heard the natural leather is more comfortable and does not crack as easily.

My front and rear seats look ever so slightly chalky and a touch lighter in shade than the rest of the black interior. I have not yet had a chance to clean them, but maybe with some good cleaner and conditioner they will improve.

Not a bad 2000 C2 with decent options list and lower mileage. Thoughts on over/under priced? Also, I've heard Rayco Eurospec has a bad rap, anyone have background?

Seems a bit overpriced, maybe dealer's room for negotiation.
