Yeah we discussed it already (no US MkI GT3s and no such thing as a 996 GT3RS so not sure what it is a tribute too). Based on the (outrageous) price its still the same person trying to sell it.

$23k for a 4S?
Seems cheap even for breaking 6 digits on the ODO.
I agree and think it maybe a great price. Almost too great actually. I'd wanna check the undersides for any advanced corrosion and check the bores since he does live up in Canada.

Those are not stock GT2 wheels. For that price I would make sure the OEM GT2 wheels come with it. However those 19" Champion's(lighter than GT2 wheels) are the shiz as well. Yes lowered.

They are pretty well treated from the factory so corrosion isn't much of a worry even in the salt loving states (unlike buying an e30 ).

Really bore scoring being more likely due to cold temps in areas that see near or below freezing temps is the only climate based issue I can think of that is remotely common.

It's the body that's only galvanized from the factory. Not the mechanical parts. If you DIY, you're not gonna want to fight every frozen bolt here and there when working on the car.

Personally, the best states are the states that hasn't had any major flooding and moderate temps like CA, GA, TN, KY, etc.

I love the wheels. They are the right color everything. I agree with B3freak. Oh shiz, did I just say that?:P

That one sounds like a good deal. The fact that the owner put on Michelin Pilot Sports would seem to indicate that he gives a damn about maintaining it well possibly.

Can you tell it's a Friday and I'm going through all the motions of being at work?

The second one I wouldn't touch, especially for the price. There is a lot of work required for a MkI -> MkII face lift. Was it done right? Also not a fan of NB cars with the 4S treatment as it just ends up looking strange. What's with the wear on the top of the steering wheel? Doesn't look right for the milage.

This was a member here and he picked it up recently IIRC. If you search around, I'm sure you can find his postings here.

Edit: Found it: https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...t-porsche.html

My wife would love you if I walked upstairs and said "do you want to go to Calvert Cliffs this weekend", so if you are interested in that one and can convince the owner to meet us at the cliffs I'd rennfax it for you. You better be serious though as I fvcking hate hiking, the beach, and having to go through PG county...
