Looks a little cheap. How much out of deviation is the cam shaft?

-8.0 and -6.0, but it didn't vary with RPM, and no CEL. I haven't dropped the sump to look for debris from the cam chain guides yet.

Those floor mats are something, that's for sure. Even for being possibly the least desirable combination of cab and tip, that's a steal at the price if a PPI checks out.

It's a roller with a blown engine. Can't believe a Porsche dealer would have that in their inventory. Somebody bought it. I was ready to buy it at that price for a DD so as not to put 25k miles/year on my Spyder. I love the 996.

Their description has a lot of flaws then.

Cheap Canadian car but worryingly "requires some engine work"

At $13,900 CAD its only US$10,700.........

Thank you Mark. Appreciate the info. I was going to send a deposit on Friday. Of course, the car won't check out but this is a bad way for them to do business.
