Getting the ROW M030 suspension installed on Monday!
Can't wait to try the car on the highway with a more planted feel! :jumper:

Sounds great but you need to get it on some twisty roads or the race track. :)
No racetrack for me - don't need what happened to your '01 996!
If it wasn't for racetracks and autox, we'd all be driving boring Prius'!
Green witheEnvy over here. The RoW M030 is at the top of my most wanted mod list.
I'll report back next week!
You'll love it. I had it installed on my street 996 AE and the stance looks great and it's good even on NJ roads..
Cool Andy, let us know what you think.
Will do!

Picked up the car last night, and all I can say is WOW!! I can't believe how shot my stock suspension was, or how much better the ROW M030 feels - or both. Acceleration is improved thanks to the car staying planted instead of floating around. Shifting also feels better, not sure why? The car now feels like it's on rails - no more vague floaty highway feel, just solid performance - an amazing improvement.
I'm seriously depressed that I didn't get this done when I bought the car - I could have been enjoying it so much more! |
Good deal. Getting a crisp suspension in these cars are one of the biggest performance upgrades you can do. Just think what the X74 would feel like :)

ROW upgrade should be mandatory at the minimum when buyers buy a used 996. This coupled to engine mounts should be the first things they do IMO. People driving around on worn/tired suspension and engine mounts aren't truly getting the Porsche experience IMO.
