Default Annoying rattle behind driver door panel

There is this rattle behind the driver door panel. Driving over bumps or from the speaker base would rattle. If I press my elbow against the side bag area, the rattle would stop.

Any ideas ?

Take off the door panel and see what's there to tighten down in the area of where you press... that's what I'd do! You gotta' just dig in and see what you find.

Having the same issue but haven't had time to start digging. Interested to see what you find.

Check post # 5 here:

I haven't tried it, but Tim suggests adjusting the door latch.

This looks to be simple enough......to remove the door panel to have a look inside. But I'm still worry that I'll do something stupid and break something...

I have no doubt, with my skills, I'd have more rattles after doing this video than before.

Had the same rattle that went away with my arm pressed against the door. When I found time to look at the door... discovered someone had been in the door and that the four lower/back edge clips were not seated. Simply popped them in and ... No more rattle - from the door anyway.

Could also be the plastic rivets that hold the airbag metal contacts to the door… they wear loose over time and the metal piece rattles against the door. I just took a small torch and melted the head of the rivet over the metal contact again and it did the trick. The airbag "button" on the door is also a notorious source.

I had a similar rattle (both doors but when I pressed in on the drivers side door with my elbow it went away). It turned out to be one of the screws holding the woofer into the baffle had come loose - still connected but loose. It sounded like a blown woofer, so before pulling the door panel(s) off I went and bought 2 new woofers. It turned out the woofers weren't blown and actually sound ok now that they've been tightened down properly - the new ones didn't fit (too deep), so short of doing some pretty significant mods to the baffles, I probably won't use them...
