Default Need PPI advice for 2004 Turbo X50

Looking at a 2004 turbo X50 and want to get a proper PPI but have no idea what to ask for. I'm hoping someone can chime in with comments on what to have done.

Let me see...you've owned four 911s and you're asking rennlist what a thorough PPI should include? Something doesn't ring true here.

Yup. Never owned a turbo and haven't kept up with 996 stuff. Always nice to ask to cover my *** and make sure everything is covered.

Its a standard used car. Treat as such re: paintwork, proper engine running, etc.

There is no magic aside from the spoiler and the 2nd gear popout.

There is a nice pre purchase checklist available for the 996 TT. Overrev is a simple two level readout from the DME. Replacement of coolant tank in recent past and pinned or welded coolant lines is a positive.

Advice: Ask on the turbo section of this forum. They will be more intimately familiar.

OK, call me nosy, but I have to ask......you had a 2010 GT3 which has just slightly under the HP of the 2004 Turbo. The GT3 would have a better handling setup out of the box and the power would be more linear than the Turbo. Let alone the sound it makes it high rpm's.
So what made this decision for you?
Pete
