I have recently bought a '03 C4 cabriolet, nice car but the weird thing is the top closes shut when I turn the car off. I've had a prior 996 cab and never experienced this. I've tried researching this fault but have had no luck. The top just stopped working, no clicking with the switch, wouldn't open with the key. I just had the computer module replaced and picked it up from the shop, the top works but closes automatically when I turn it off. The front hook doesn't cycle correctly, it cycles twice to correctly close. I'm scratching my head for answers, has anyone experienced anything similar or know any sources who could help me? Thanks!

A high end scan tool can probably detect which sensor or switch is trying to close the top. Maybe the door lock is faulty, or the dash switch. Try unplugging the dash switch and rule that out.

I am currently having the same issue. My top goes up after turning the ignition off even when the parking brake is not engaged. Did you figure out your issue?
