Still coming to grips with the cost if everything on my 966. Had my clutch replaced, flywheel replaced, ims bearing replaced, and an antifreeze leak repaired. Total bill 3900. About right, or did I get soaked?

That doesn't sound excessively brutal, given that it includes a new flywheel. Did you go OEM dual-mass flywheel or lightweight? What did the leak repair consist of?

I have not picked up the car yet. Will know tomorrow. Apparently some valve needed to replaced. They saw it while replacing clutch.
As to the flywheel. I did not go with the light weight flywheel as I heard it was a pain to drive in traffic. RPM's going down fast. True?

True, and there's also at least one expert who thinks that lightweight flywheels can cause engine damage. Good choice. I just didn't want to front-end load the question with "Gee, I hope you didn't..." and make you feel like crap if you did.

I imagines some small bits and pieces here and there got replaced too, correct? Those add up quickly. I don't think you got hosed. Find out what he charged for parts, to see if there was a significant up-charge (especially for the IMSB).

Pretty sure all the work/cost was reviewed/approved by you before any work was done. So my 2 cents: not much you can do about it now BUT you get to drive with LESS worry now

You're gonna have to get used to getting bent over with lube and sometimes without. Costs are dramatically higher for the same kinds of parts/services compared to some other cars, especially if you don't DIY.
