Default seat covers for sport seats

I recently redid a set of sport seats , and they look great! Id like to keep them looking that way. Does anyone have a good lead on a set or where I could buy one? Id appreciate it, thanks.

I've read good thinks about the Wet Okle covers. They are one of the few that don't look like a loose sheet tossed over the top of your seat.

Please don't ruin your sport seats with a set of covers. Unless you purposely abuse your seats, they should last a long time. BTW, do you have those plastic covers on your living room furniture?

Im a big guy who wears jeans almost every day, and the seats are in a boxster which has a lower roofline than a 996. I ruined my seat bolster by scratching it on my way in and out of the car over the last 2 years or so... I also have an english bulldog that occasionally rides with me in the summer ( or to the vet... )

I just want to keep them looking mint, which they do right now.

Same thing here, big guy, jeans and since I lowered my car the wear on the bolsters has been terrible.

How much did it run to have the seats redone?

Ah in that case I second the Wet Okle reco. I've had them in the past and have had good experience with them. But I'm not sure if they have a Sport Seat application.

Weehawken is a great place, I grew up on Hudson Place and live in another part of town now.

I've redone a few Porsche seats with various techniques. I can tell you from recent experience that a set of leather seat covers for standard 996 seats cost about $800. You can buy the foam for the recliner from Porsche for about $90, you'll need it. If you're handy, you can do it yourself. Figure about $400 labor if you take them someplace.

These seats that I recently bought were in need of refreshing... Jerry Manna taught me everything I ever needed to know about restoring seats.

-the leather was very dry and cracked in a few places.
-some goofball tried to paint the seat backs in silver, probably to match his car. Too bad it was cheapo spray paint.

To address the problems, I called color-plus in PA, and ordered the following:
-Flex-fill for the cracks
-'Soffener' to restore moisture
- 1 qt of savannah beige paint.

You can buy a spray gun from harbor freight to apply the paint to the seats. Here is the before and after

By the way, tools, paint, and materials cost me less than $200.

Lee. Your painted leather looks great. How is the dye holding up after these years, especially since the original color is black?

Thank you! The dye is holding up very well up to this point. I make sure to condition it on a regular basis, but for me the most important part of maintaining the seats was...

Getting another daily driver and not wearing jeans in the car.
