I have a perfect pair of black OEM seats from my old track car. They have about 1500 miles of use on them and they are like new. If your interior is black, it might be an option :-)

Well, since my car is sitting in your shop, this may work out. :-) This is David who just bought the '02. Even though interior is gray, the black may not look too bad.

Well, how ironic is that!
I'll send some photos of them and we could try fitting one to see how it looks, if you want. We could do this before we move the car to long term storage.

I have a set of good condition grey seats I'd consider selling, let me know if interested.

There's a nice set of black seats from a turbo on Craigslist in Irvine, CA for $900. I bought a set of rear seats from the same guy a few months ago and saw them, in great condition. PM me if you're interested and can't find the ad.

I am trying to get a little support for track days, but with comfort. With that said, what are my best options? sport seats, turbo seats?

Jake, if it isn't too much trouble, can you place the black seat in the car? You don't even have to remove the seat that is in there, maybe just stick it in there gently. I don't want you to go to too much trouble.

The seats are pretty bulky, to get any idea I'd have to pull the current seats and replace them.. I honestly don't remember how many "power" positions that they have, I haven't seen them in years, they were conditioned and preserved.

We can wait until the car comes out of storage when you are placing the engine back in it. There is no rush. Thanks for the heads up.

In my case I ditched the memory control module as most sport seats don't come with full power.

If you need reclining, the only other seat are the gt2 seats as far as factory option but they are super pricey.

What part of the leather is torn? These seats are more modular and sections can be replaced by themselves so that may be an option. If that's the case, I would just get a Recaro or Sparco for track use and swap them during track days.
Where do you find these modular replacements? I would love to replace a bolster! I haven't seen this anywhere else.

Is there a "how to" video or other guide to recovering the supple leather seats? TY! /X3
