I used the headlight washer more out of curiosity than anything else because I was getting bored driving along an icy road with freezing ambient temperatures at 20MPH following many other trucks and cars. The front of the car was covered with dirty road spray. A couple of hours later weather cleared, temperature rose to 40F and everything started moving including me and my P-car - all of a sudden bam on the windshield - what the hell was that ***&&!!! Windshield not broken, everything seems fine, black as hell outside, didn't want to stop. In the light of the following morning the cap of one washer was gone! No other damage.

Got the replacement from Suncoast today - you get more than just the cap - pulled the entrails out with a pair of forceps (Harbor Freight) and swapped parts, 5 minutes tops.

Pulled the fuse (C9) out the box to prevent actuation again. Enough of this design, not quite as bad as cup holders, but right up there.
