I'm a '99.

In other temp news, I think there is a secondary temp sensor somewhere in the car. I do not have the temp sensor for the gauge hooked up. But when the engine gets hot, the red light on the gauge flashes. Anyone have a clue to that?

To replace the coolant temperature sensor, is it required to drain some coolant? Seems like some is gonna have to come put regardless.
