Default Narrow body wheel question?

Hey

I was wondering if stock rear rim size is 18x10, would an 18x11 fit?
There's a nice set of Turbo Twist II rims on Craig's near me. The tires mounted are the same size as my stock tires.

It depends on the offset. Do you know the offset of the wheels you want to buy?

Stock for 2002 - 2004 is 18x10 et 65.

18x11 with et 63 should fit. This size is what the 2004 & 05 GT3 uses. You may have to roll your fender lip slightly. I recall some have used even a more aggressive offset.

I'm using 18x10.5 with et60 and it fits great.

If the 18x11 has an et of 45, forget them for your narrow body. They will stick out.

I'll have to see if the guy gets back to me. I don't plan on rolling my fenders, so I guess 18x11 won't work.

It might work - it really depends on the offset. If the wheels are widebody offsets from a turbo or C4S, then it will cause problems. If not, then you might be okay.

victor innsbrucks on my 03 narrow body are18x11 with a 55mm offset and they fit perfectly with no fender role, a 295/30/18 tire and the m030 row suspension. the mk1 996 has less room out back do to the way the factory left the fender lip.

They are listed as '02 rims, so I guess they wont fit my '01. Here is what they look like:

ask the seller what are the numbers cast next to the valves... the lower number indicates the wheel width; i.e., 8 or 8.5, 11 or 12 and the larger number indicates the offset; i.e., 45,50,etc.. ...
those appear to be Hollow spoke Turbo wheels ( GT Silver in color).

Yeah, they look awesome! Seller is a parts dealer that hasn't replied to my questions yet.

They look like hollow spoke turbo wheels. They are most likely widebody offsets, but I'd be interested to hear what the seller says.

In a nutshell, they'll fit NB 996s as long as the wheels have the proper offsets.

What kind of wheel is this? realy nice and not like "aweryone else" where can I buy them?

that's a good price if the wheels aren't damaged and tires are useable ( tread and expiration ).

if the seller is near you, see if you can assure the wheels balance out properly. take them to a shop.

If they are Turbo offsets, buy em and save em for when you get a WB....j/k

You need some Fikse center caps for this set of wheels.
