2004 40th Anniversary Edition purchased July 2010 with no issues. I proactively installed an LN bearing at 34k miles pre-delivery and car now has 59k and has been problem free.

Racer
2000 C2 with 142k kms, New RMS & clutch et al, in 2010 but left IMSB as is then, as it was not believed to be an issue by previous owner/well-reputed Indy at the time.
Assumed to be a dual row IMSB (early 99 fall production: # ...0220) and still doing well w/out leaks (fingers crossed).
No immediate plan to replace with LN.

Burning Brakes
02 C2 Cab - 62K kms still with original IMSB (no issues to date knock on wood) - plan to install the LN bearing (not the permanent solution - too pricey) at the first opportune moment (clutch, RMS leaking or whatever might come up). Until that point I'm not remotely concerned as the failure rate is far too low to be concerned!!
I also have to comment on statement on page one that due to data corrupting these types of ad hoc surveys that perhaps these types of surveys should be restricted to "renlist members". I have no idea why so many guys on this forum feel that is someone pays $18 his or her opinion is that much better than a "user". Absolute rubbish and you continually commenting "members" need to get over yourselves!!!

~121K miles on my C4S on my original bearing. I had my RMS and my intermediate shaft seal replaced at ~74K miles.

2001, Dual row IMSB, but preemptively replaced with LN ceramic at 49,500 miles.
Original motor, not a replacement.
