Opinions on best looking 18" rims for 996 WB...
#33
I needed a second set for my '03 C4S track tires a few years ago. It was fun to think about all the options -- there are some great ones. But everything good was super expensive. In the end I simply got a second set of Turbo Twists I found on craigslist. $800 for the set, excellent condition, with a set of half-used Pilot Sports.
BUT ... if I had the dough I'd go straight for the HREs Dennis posted. Beautiful, clean and light.

They look awesome! And, so do the VE's on Hyper's C4S.
Those Forgestars look nice, too! I came across a few 'concave' options on eBay but most were only available on NB cars. WB options are the problem.

+1 Here is my 996 with BBS RS-GT's. You should be able to grab a set for a wide body between $2,500 - $3,000 of fleabay or Craigslist.

IMO most of what HRE has to offer looks great on any car.. My personal favorite wheels are the BBS e88.
I also attached a shot of one of my P40S'. I think HRE does an amazing job!
EDIT: I guess it didn't attach... Here we go:

I'm still pondering this but I really kind of like the Forgestar F14s. Next question is what color works best on a Seal Grey cab (with a grey top)? I tend to prefer lighter color wheels (silver vs. black) but would appreciate other thoughts. What about gunmetal?

P.S. Those BBS E88s are gorgeous....just a little out of my price range I'm thinking. Not to mention I'm eyeing a new car to replace my Volvo and if I make too many car related purchases in a short period of time it triggers my better half's spidey sense.

Victor Equipment makes their wheels to exact OEM specifications. I paid about $1,000 for my 18" Lemans. I believe the Lemans comes in chrome, gloss black, and machine finish.
